They did, but it's the Mercedes Benz superdome, they are bound to have electrical issues.

Crack it open and reflow it!

If that's the problem anyway.....granted I imagine there are a few other causes for the yellow light.

I've still got a fat one from launch, still works mostly....occasionally loads areas slowly and such, though that's really my only complaint. Well, that and occasionally it'll have red lines going down the screen along with speaker buzzing. Doesn't seem to be a problem with the hdmi cables.....

Anyway, pulled the trigger on the 7.1 monoprice headset, hopefully it's better than the TB z6A that just had the right cup die. If not, got a friend that wants them from me.

You have my deepest sympathy. Other than that, you probably should also have a garbage can and a toilet nearby.

THose things are very popular here. I collect and restore pinball machines and I know several people who have picked up old bubble hockey games for a deal at amusement auctions.

I am absolutely addicted to GT5. Moved the PS3 into the family room from the basement a few weeks ago when we got the newest GT (had Prologue previously) and cant stop playing. I especially like tuning the twins to kick ass! See my avatar!

I would say it depends on the model PS3 you have. The HDD on my 80GB PS3 took a shit on me, but I plan on fixing it, because it has a lot of extras the newer PS3 don't have, plus it plays PS2 games.

I did pick up a 320GB PS3 though...so I have 2 PS3's

Yep. Newer PS3's are not backward compatible to PS2 games.

Yeah, my PS3 is the original first gen 60GB that's back compatible... that's the one of the reason why I'm debating it's worth fixing or not.

IDK... I'm still figuring out everything.

Hard drive swap in a PS3 is a piece of cake. I've done an upsize a couple of times on ours. Just about any 2.5" drive works.

Sweet. I've been meaning to look to see what specs are needed for a new PS3 HD. Is there a limit to the size? Or can I put say a 500gb HD in there?
