Time for another review from us. This time we're going to cover the Rexpeed Carbon Fiber Lip kit for the Scion FR-S and GT-86. We have had this on hand for a couple weeks now and got some time to get the photos and videos done.

The kit comes all together or you can get pieces separately. We choose to mount the entire thing.

The Carbon is a 2x2 weave pattern so it should match almost anything. We have shots below with it next to a Seibon lip which is also 2x2 so you can see how it looks with another company's carbon parts if you choose to mix and match. The Rexpeed parts are light, simple, and have a nice fit and finish. Mounting hardware is included. Install is pretty simple and takes just an hour or two with two people. Two people is highly recommended. You will be drilling into the body of your car which is common place with any kit or lip you install. Again simple and standard process.

Overall we really like the kit. It's affordable, fits well, and best of all looks great!

First up lets compare Rexpeed weave to the weave of the Seibon TA Lip for the Scion FR-S which we had on hand. Seibon on the top, Rexpeed on the bottom.

We had to push the car out of this spot... 255 Hankook RS-3's do not enjoy snow.

Thanks for the side by side, will go with tge seibon kit due to the shape. It's sharper and less rounded.

Is this true carbon fiber? Would we be have to worry about the lip Cracking?

Rexspeed looks better than the seibon from what i can tell, looks pretty good and those 255's look mean.

One layer of carbon with clear coat and one layer fiberglass. You won't have to worry about the lip cracking unless you plan to hit hard things with it

No front lip option for the BRZ from RexSpeed at the moment. We'll see if they plan on making one and let everyone know. Otherwise, the sideskirts and rear spats will, obviously, fit the BRZ.

Yes, we ship internationally and so does Rexpeed themselves.

Enkei RPF1 in 17x9 +35 with 255/40/17 RS3's.
