More overdue updates....

Not a whole lot has changed since winter decided to show up, so shes nestled neatly in the garage.

But last weekend we got some nice weather, so my friend and I went to take some pictures.

This is one my friend took:

2013-02-02 - Installed the @GrimmSpeed hood struts.

Before with ugly hood prop:

After with nice, new struts:

If you've been on the fence about getting hood struts, get them from Grimmspeed. They actually put thought behind the product.

mikeschicagoRL, I'm usually over in the Automotive News section but I do occasionally wander over to Car Talk and check out your ride (the lone Azine FR-S for those wondering).

Haha, yep, still got it. At least until I get a good trade offer when looking for a FR-S.

Its slowed quite a lot as winter has been making an appearance.

Yesterday marked the 9 month anniversary of owning it, and this is the current mileage:

Thats less then 400 miles in the past month. New record!!

What do you for a living? I'd probably off myself if I drove that much.

I'm a system admin at three customer sites, and I occasionally take service calls outside of the data centers when needed. Thankfully I've been driving my other car so I can spare the FRS from the crappy weather.

My average mileage dropped a lot over the past year, I used to average about 35k miles each year. Luckily my employer reimburses me for mileage, otherwise I don't think I'd keep this job.

Thanks! I'll have to double check, but I believe they are gun metal. Mercury silver is a bit brighter.
