Im curious to why they decided to do different rates for the BRZ and FR-S. I wonder if it had to do with keeping the inherent differences in feeling of the BRZ and FR-S or if it had to do with the difference in the stock dampers.

We measured the stock dampers to be identical, as have many others. My guess is they wanted to keep 2 different characters to the cars for those that preferred one to the other.

Oops! It was late when I was researching this and accidently mistook one of the spring tests for a shock test! No clue how I could have misinterpreted that. Thanks for bringing this to my attention! haha

Swift typically is also the lightest spring coil also as far as weight per coil is concerned.
