Im curious to why they decided to do different rates for the BRZ and FR-S. I wonder if it had to do with keeping the inherent differences in feeling of the BRZ and FR-S or if it had to do with the difference in the stock dampers.

We measured the stock dampers to be identical, as have many others. My guess is they wanted to keep 2 different characters to the cars for those that preferred one to the other.

Oops! It was late when I was researching this and accidently mistook one of the spring tests for a shock test! No clue how I could have misinterpreted that. Thanks for bringing this to my attention! haha

difference as in better or what can you tell us ?
im dying to get your impression afterwards.

I was told the SWIFT is somewhat moderate -- if not minimal

I want to drop it but not significantly - im afraid of all the camber-alignment issues that some folks with the more aggressive drops are having.

what did you have to adjust afterwards ?

I have the alignment sheet, ill scan it and pm you the results. There is a little bit of negative camber in the rear but honestly its not that bad. In terms of feel? Its almost like stock but not as bouncy. I plan on getting bigger wheels soon so i may get a camber arm but thats still something im considering. The drop at least for me is good enough. So all in all if you wanted to keep the suspension almost the same but eliminate some of the wheel gap, its good. I personally like it better now than how the stock springs feel, but thats just me.

thats the amazing thing about the material that swift uses in their springs, it rides just as soft, if not softer than stock but once you start cornering and hit the actual springrate, its solid. You dont get that ghetto bouncyness you experience with pretty much all other springs out there *cough* eibach *cough*. Call be biased but I dont understand why anyone would run any other lowering spring besides Swift, no offense to RCE, they def got a quality product with the right R&D, but they dont actually manufacture their springs themselves and the bouncyness is still there. I used to swear by hyperco for their coilover springs till i swapped swift springs with my buddy and have been on swifts ever since.

By far swift IMO is one of the best springs that are for the FR-S. The quality is super nice and no random noise like other springs. I say just spend the extra few bucks and get the Swift.

Have you actually been on our springs for BRZ/FRS? They are not bouncy. And of course we don't manufacture our springs ourselves...Myles is not in the back bending steel with his bare hands. We're a small company that focuses on a niche market for a couple of cars. So we have the springs produced to our specs by one of the top 3 spring manufacturers in the world using state of the art equipment. Swifts spring material is really good and we sell and use them all the time. There is no magic pixie dust in them though...they're just good, consistent, light springs.

Swift typically is also the lightest spring coil also as far as weight per coil is concerned.
