I really don't understand this look and why people love it. The radius of the wheel arches should be roughly centered on the axle like the wheel itself. I think that cars that sit like the one above look broken and I just don't get it.



These aren't my ideal wheels but the look, between the size and ride height, is perfect. The wheels sit just about dead center in the wheel arch and fill it out nicely.

All my opinion of course....to each his own.

I'm right there with you. Definitely not my thing. I'd rather have the so called "Monster Truck" stance of the OEM setup than this. Just don't get it but like you said...

Personally, if someday I decide to do coilovers then I won't be upset with any drop as a result but I see no reason really to lower the car from its stock height.

It's already got one of the lowest centers of gravity of nearly any production car and handles like a Porsche.

Wheels will be one of my first mods come warmer weather but from there I'll be working towards a Vortech S/C and several much more minor cosmetic modifications.

Edit: The other thing I don't get is that crazy negative camber look.
