I have that and $1k worth of other perrin parts waiting till tomorrow. Not sure if if I want to keep my custom aluminum pipe (if it fits) or otherwise use my Perrin inlet

If it fits should I keep it? Wonder what is better with temps, heat sprayed aluminum or silicone?

What are your impressions of the pulley? Feel any difference?

I'd get it professionally installed. I like to DIY most parts but this is something you don't want to wing it.

The torque dip around 3k rpm is much better, but I notice the crickets got louder, and it came back. My crickets were gone after 1k mile until today.

Ya I Would definitely get it professionally installed. Luckily I don't have any crickets under my hood, but I only have about 750 miles on the car so far, so hopefully I'll never have that problem. *crosses fingers*

unless you only have like a phillips and a flat head and that is your extent of tools, and you have never rotated your own tires or changed your own oil there is NO REASON to pay someone to do this. i used those examples cause that is how easy it is. just make sure your get the belt all the way back on all the pulleys and tq the bolt correctly and you are done. took me 5 minutes, maybe 10 max.

you will most likely have the "crickets" unless you are tuned. that noise is the dual injection system delivering fuel. when you get tuned it makes it not so rich and for easy terms "levels" out the switch between injections.

if you have any car experience and can read, and you still pay someone to do it I am sorry but you are an idiot. and if you feel that way you won't mind making the drive to my shop in NC so i can take your money lmao

i have had 2 people bring me a pulley job and i asked them just a few questions
1 do you have a tq wrench
2 do you have a breaker bar or long ratchet
3 can you read

and both of them went home. that is how i get customers for big jobs, they trust me not to charge them for stuff that they can do themselves.

Well hit this today! 70 Miles away. Could easily do this in an hour or so...

But then this happened and killed my driving mood for today. Cannot get fixed until Monday either...No highway driving the rest of this weekend for me until all. My buddy was pulling off in his WRX on the on ramp and must of ran over a boulder. I was WAY behind him too.
