Thanks for the info Myles! Sure, you have a point there.

Actually I wonder how I can say Thank You on this board?? I see sometimes one user thanking the other, but I cannot find this feature?? Cuz' I really wish I could avoid an empty post as this, but still show appreciation!

So again

Your set up sounds like it's going to be awesome. Very similar to what I'd like to do, given more experience driving the car stock for the time being.

Out of interest, how much of an effect would installing this have on your factory warranty?

If they drive your car they would know, but it would take a master tech or enthusiast to single this out and deny any drive train work.

This is very cool, to RCE.

Is it possible to put one of these in with another 6th gear to keep an efficient overdrive? I drive a lot of highway miles.

If so I think this is definitely going in my car, what an easy and stealthy mod!

edit: Damn it, now I am going to have to get wider tires!

When someone releases a taller 6th gear, which no one has yet.

Got a ride in it today; you can feel the quickness. Most importantly the torque valley goes by quicker. So while the dip obviously isn't gone since you didn't touch power you're through that area of the powerband a LOT quicker. My only concern would be highway miles as well.
