Can you tell us the in general the way of changing the fuel pump? is it necessary that we need to take down the fuel tank? and the location of the injectors. it would be great if you have some pic of the fuel tank/ injectors installation.

Thanks

You do not have to drop the tank, there is access under the rear seat. The aftermarket fuel pumps are taller than the stock unit. As a result you have to lengthen the stock pump pickup to fit it. The injectors are where they would be on any car, on the intake manifold facing into the cylinder heads.
This is going to sound rude, but its real advice- if you do not know where the fuel injectors are by glancing at the engine, you probably shouldn't attempt to change them, the aftermarket injectors are taller and require a spacer, but if you put them in wrong it is going to be a hazard. The same thing applies to the pump, if you haven't done a fuel pump before, modifying the pump assembly is not a good place to try your first one. Again, I'm not trying to be rude, I just don't recommend messing with fuel components unless you are sure of what you're doing.

Wont be able to reach 15psi safely on 93. Youd need e85 or race gas to run that on the stock motor. In that case, 15psi and e85 will net you around 400rwhp.

Tansey is correct in stating that e85 would be required at higher boost levels. Pure Automotive and I will get an e85 dyno tune and post results. We might go 12-14psi and shoot for 375-400whp. The car will be competing in March with the goal of high 11s and low 12s in the quarter.

Thumbs up

Sweet. E-85 here in Texas is about 2.85. So I'll save about 80 cents - a dollar a gallon

I don't like you. e85 here is higher than premium and is like $3.70 or something like that.

Dont worry, you dont actually save any money using e85, you make more power though.

You will be consuming 30% more fuel while tuned for e85 so the net effect may cancel out your cheap price for e85
