Someone mentions on this page that all output must be within 5% of OEM specs. They couldn't use the turbo if they had it. I still think they have a turbo for it somewhere

Agree. I would love 2 better.

I hope someone will make taillight similar to Aston Martin Zagato's taillight for this car. It will be perfect.

Everything is "looking" to be on a nice path for this model.

Hoping very much that the "sound" of this has a good correlation to it's being.

I don't know what to do...a good friend of mine who still owns his tc (I got rid of mine for an 8th gen SI) keeps sending me info on the 86. My goodness its beautiful.

Now to decide to trade my Si in for this when its released or pay off the remaining 1 year I will have on it. ARG. Guess I can always own two cars. FML. This car needs to be a panda in my garage.

I own 3 (well 4 if you include the car I need to take to the junkyard) cars currently, so sure, owning two cars is very possible

Lots of nice TRD options but how much would it be to get most/all of the options? TRD, much like every other factory tuner, is expensive (overpriced)

Full coilovers (dampening adjustable?) - 1500-2k?

Muffler (i assume not catback only muffler?) - 800?

Brembo brakes - I don't know how big these are but a full on aftermarket Brembo set is over ~4k

Sports air filter (not sure if this is just a drop in or an actual tube replacement) - Maybe ~75-100 for drop in ~150-200 for replacement

18" Wheels - these type of optional wheels are always super expensive...personally i would just go with aftermarket...i'm guessing like 3k+

Aero parts - i'm guessing like 400 (front) + 400 (back) + 200 (sides) + 200 (spoiler)

Over 10k ?

It's nice to see TRD parts. I hope they continue to add more. I would love to see how the trd and aftermarket scene progresses. I noticed an HID bulb upgrade option. I am hoping that they are referring to real HID's with a bulb and ballast and not the ghetto PIAA stuff you can get at autozone. With the current cost-cutting measures it seems unlikely, but maybe there is a chance that the 86 will come with HID projectors standard or as an option. IMO, the s2000 projectors had the sharpest and most beautiful beam pattern and having HIDs would be a nice treat. Otherwise, retrofit.

They list "Sports Metering System" under interior dress-up; meaning gauges? Does this refer to the white tachometer w/LED readouts? Or do you think it refers to a separate set of optional gauges mounted somewhere else?

You know a car is fucking epic when all that everyone finds to bitch about is how many exhaust tips it has.

I like the ducktail spoiler; it hides how Toyota screwed up the styling of the trunklid compared to any of the three concepts.

Also interested in the adjustable height coilovers; as in who makes them, their valving, etc.

The Brembo kit sounds like it's calipers-only and not larger rotors, which is curious.
