Again, this system will bolt right up to Tainen's exhaust system.

Correct. And the v-band near the overpipe downpipe inlet gives us the ability to test different collector diameters as well. Also allows us to test a few differences in bend radius which would allow us to run the system with or without the factory radiator fan array and shroud - which for the time being has been upgraded to a pair of SPAL fans on a custom shroud.

We're not by any means interested in a) screwing over our customer base or b) developing outside of the range of constraints that 99% of our customers have made very clear (the main constraint being reasonable sound levels).

Yeah, full race car is the goal for me, limiting power mods to intake/exhaust/tune. Definitely going to keep an eye on how things pan out. If there's not a significant gain with the 3" over the current system, then I'm not too worried about it. Until the BRZ, I've been a pretty hardcore Mazda guy, so "loud" doesn't mean the same thing when it's not a rotary to me.

Right now I'm extremely happy with the axleback/overpipe combo. If you guys say I can mount it up OK I believe you.

So when can I schedule lift time so I can get this bad boy installed.

I think this car as it sits right now could make a N/A FC with a straight pipe shit its pants.

Yeah we have contemplated that actually. We are probably going to do a dyno test of the open header with a dump on this next round...

Okay, I think it's out my system. No open headers or dumps or cut-outs.

Headers, final drive, and tune then I'm done. I swear.

Ugh no. You could hear my wrx a mile away WOT and on cold start you could hear it in every part of the house. At least it was a silver wagon so cops never knew what car was making the noise. Can't get away with that in a bright blue coupe.

Any increased drone inside the cabin? Any substantial increase in noise where it would bother you for a DD? If not then I'm in 200%!

I'm certain the cabin noise is up a notch, but well be driving it here shortly to find out. Fired it up last night. It idles like butter - quiet even. But the second you're into throttle it's ballistic.

We may try it out with a single exit muffler delete track pipe as well just to see how it changes the sound. I, for one, am curious.

I've given up hope of any emissions passing headers.
