That is awesome and is exactly what I have been looking for. Looks like it requires a bluetooth adapter. Jack, what kind of adapter is needed?

Guys, I will do some pulls sometime soon. i'm scheduled to go into the local shop to have my car dyno'd on feb. 7th. I'll post my sheets on here. I'm hoping we have an e85 tune by then so I can try and get numbers on this also.

Mechanically this should be Impossible... right? but I saw someone on YouTube w launch control on an AT. Maybe just for proof of concept? Then again- how does the car rev match so well. Idunno. I'm curious how this turns out no one has been really clear on how much control we have on the AT. I'm wondering if maybe it somehow completely opens the torque converter to downshift?

Good question and wow would that be sweet!!! I messaged a few of you on what you guys like better timing in or standard and everyone likes timing in better only a few haven't tried it yet. I tried it today, but the roads were wet so I can't give an opinion of it yet...kinda felt first pulled harder??

....I want e85 and launch control maybe that makes my car =Race Car?

For everybody with a MapsQ Download cable, the Perrin CAI map family is posted and ready for use. It includes the Fuel Standard/Timing Standard, Timing In, and Timing Out maps for low octane, midgrade, and premium octane fuel.

If you’re running this intake, or thinking about it, you’ll definitely want a calibration to go along with it to correct the fuel trim changes it creates.

We’re finalizing the Fuel In and Fuel Out calibrations and will get them posted soon.

Cheers

I believe Fuel in/out and timing in/out is all this kit is capable of. Launch control is ecu reflash territory. Jack, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

What does 91 octane fuel count as? Is that considered premium or midgrade? Us California guys have a hard time tracking down 93+ octane. There are some stations around but most people have to go out of their way to get it.

I’d consider 91 premium, but the beauty of the MapQ Library is you have the timing changes to support a wide range of fuel octanes… there are 9 different timing maps for each bolt-on configuration in each fuel map specification.

Consider, for example, the midgrade and premium grade maps in the Fuel Standard folder…

… working up from the middle, you have the Timing Standard 89 octane map which is designed (cleverly…) for nominal 89 octane fuel. You also have a Timing In 89 octane map which has a little more ignition timing so it needs a little more octane… say 90.

Jumping up to the Timing Standard 92 octane map which is (again, cleverly…) designed for nominal 92 octane fuel… so there’s a little gap between the Timing In 89 octane map and the Timing Standard 92 octane map… but you also have the Timing Out 92 octane map which is for slightly less octane than the Timing Standard map… say 91.

We’ve made maps that essentially step all the way from Timing Out 87 octane that’s workable with a poor low octane fuel all the way to Timing In 92 that’s good for 93 octane… and everything in between.

It’s important to realize there are variances between blends and not all 91’s are the same… with the download cable you can cover pretty much any fuel you come across.

Launch control… yes, the Unichip does launch control and we’re experimenting with different options on our test cars.

Cheers

Cool. Thanks for the clarification. Is the bluetooth module still available? I would like to use the android app.

All of the Fuel and Timing maps for 92 and 89 Octane maps are posted. We'll get the 87 Octane maps next week.

Cheers
