Being able to track where you car is at helps keep the excitement and anticipation under control.

Hmm... looks like TF6 decided to skip Brisbane... must be in a hurry to deliver mine!

Not really, kinda over it now - NOT!!!

Least having the MX5's to run around in is fun but after 7 months of waiting, being kept alive by others on this forum knowing I wasn't the only one who appeared to have been forgotten, it's about to happen!! So, to get here finally thru a cyclone and now to get to the Dealer thru receding floodwaters, what next? I dare not think!! All I will say is, if there is ONE cloud in the sky on 'pick-up' day' it can wait!!

My Camry died in November, so since then have been car-pooling with the wife. Believe me, there is very little cool factor in a Yaris!

Hope the skys are clear for you!

Drizzle! More rain and storms forecast tomorrow and believe me, if it's wet or looking that way when mine is ready to pick up it can wait!! About 160km each way from home to the Dealer, but a good run to settle the car in for those first couple of hundred km's

Your Camry died? That's odd, they're bombproof & usually last forever, even abused

Yeah, a '96 I bought 2nd-hand 4 years ago to keep me mobile until the kids left home & I could put money toward something decent, rather than their bottomless stomachs and designer label clothes they just couldn't exist without.

It'd done > 380k km's and had nearly no maintenance (though I looked after it a bit better than the previous owner.)

By died, it still runs... but I'm picking that metal-on-metal grinding noises from inside the cam-belt cover area is not a good sign. (I could get it fixed, but don't tell the wife that. It was the excuse I needed to order the 86!)

I had a '91 SV21 as a 'go to work' poverty pack, bought it in '98 and sold in '02 - never missed a beat!! Everyone called it the 'Lady Bowler's Car' - nice bunch of friends I have. Funny, 23km each way to work back then and every day to pass the time I'd count SV21's, most trips it would be 15-20 I would see

My 'estimated delivery' just moved back from 8 Feb to 11 Feb, but who cares - given the devasting floods in the region where my Dealer is, I would prefer them to prepare and deliver vehicles to those dependent on a work vehicle to make a living, many lost their cars in flash flooding

What's a few days after waiting 7 months? nothing at all!!

Just found out my car is on the "Oregon Highway", due at Port Kembla on the 8th Feb, due at the dealer on the 19th. Seems a long time to get from PK to Goulburn but after waiting since July I'm not complaining.

Totally counting the minutes, the ship tracking thing is great too.

I will stand corrected but when the car gets to PK it has to have air con gassed and satnav fitted etc - that's as told by a Dealer but maybe someone can comfirm. Mine will take around 9-10 days from 'storage' to Dealer, arrived 29/1 and showing now 11/2, moved back from the Friday 8th to the following Monday

In the 'status' box on my tracking it says 'Being prepared for transport' and under that 'latest estimated customer delivery date 11 February 2013 and the box on the right now highlighted in red is 'In Transport companys storage yard'
