Looking good man. Can you weight those tubular sways before you install them? Would love to see how they com pair to stock and solid aftermarket bars.

I was just looking at the rates on those new bars:
Stock Front is 141 lb/in Stock Rear is 113 lb/in So.. softest front is 236% stiffer than stock stiffest rear is 196% stiffer than stock Very interested to see how the over all balance is affected.

Thanks for that calculation. I think the rear bar is spec'd significantly softer than other aftermarket sways. That makes me feel better about them, actually. They should allow me to keep a good balance between street and track.

Installed my GrimmSpeed hood struts today! The install was pretty straight forward once I received the kit. I did it by myself using the stock hood prop to get the brackets bolted onto each side of the hood, then lifting the hood up while I was on each side to do the lower brackets. I'm very happy with the ease of install. Took me about 20 minutes.
I've since removed the stock hood prop as I don't need it anymore. The fit and finish of these struts is amazing and they are perfectly balanced as advertised! Better than OEM quality, in my opinion. For what @GrimmSpeed sold them to me for at group buy pricing they are absolutely a steal. I'm very happy with the additional room they allow to work in the engine bay!

I hope my bracket came in today. Too lazy to check tracking.
Looks good! Your car is even cleaner now, and it was already really clean! |

Car is looking good!
Make sure you report back on those sway bars after an event! I think we'll have to pick up a set for one of the shop cars....or both.... Cheers! -Yo |
