Truthfully, stages 1.5 and 2.0 have been done. Awhile ago too for that matter. I don't market stuff without testing it for drivability and longevity first. The more the motor is pushed, the more and longer the tests. I look for signs of accelerated wear and tear, issues if any, quirks. That's the sort of thing we do. Additionally, while in testing, I often add a variety of parts and mods just to see how well and what exactly needs to be done to ensure consistent results. Drift-Office isn't just a shop that tunes FRSs / BRZs on the dyno in one day and then offers them out to the public the next. This is especially true of all who will be purchasing the AVO Turbo kit. We know that there's enough of a variance between every car that exceeds our consistency standards (5-7%) so hence, I'm hesitant in offering e-tunes. We don't let our customers become test subjects, no matter how willing. ![]() There are additional supporting mods I'd like to see before stage 2.0 but as it is, all our local customers will be getting stage 1.5 from us with every purchase, installation and tune. We should be seeing finalized results of Stage 1.5 in the coming "weeks" as the kits are starting to ship... Regards! Bob @ Drift-Office, LLC |

Injectors, pumps, clutch, etc?... What exactly differs 1.0 vs 1.5 vs 2.0 by now? How could I estimate my lucky kit shipment date ? Last edited by MSTiFK8R; 01-31-2013 at 06:13 AM. |

![]() I have a list of must haves, but it's not yet finalized. I will when AVO deems proper to post the numbers. Regards! Bob @ Drift-Office, LLC |

i really hope stage 2 makes at least 300 whp, cause i just saw a visconti tuned p&l kit thats making 320whp at 11psi on 91 octane, which is tempting, but i really like the AVO kit for the turbo positioning, uel headers, and stealthiness under the hood, hope you guys push the limit a bit

While it's fun to chase peak whp figures, high peak whp is usually found at high rpm's. If you notice from those dyno charts of the automatic, peak torque was reached at 2700-2800rpm - not, say, 4500 rpm like some turbo's. And it's maintaining it over a very long band. It makes for *excellent* driveability and overall performance.
So let's just say that, theoretically (cough), at 8-10psi we could peak at 230ft/lbs of torque and maintain over 200ft/lbs from 3300~7000rpm, it wouldn't produce the same peak whp as a turbo that made a bit more torque at 7400~8000rpm. But boy is it fun. I mean, it would be. |
