Good question. I'd assume it's an 810 as it's never been changed.

"swapped the valves" ? I'm not sure what this means, nor do I recall seeing anything about swapping valves in this thread. Maybe I missed something (?).

Could you explain?

Thanks.

Most likely swapped sensors to see if its a cam sensor issue like they did on mine.

xfire0384, Scion FR-S, 5,400 miles, 7078XX, 1 day - repaired, CA, USA

They scanned the ECM and got error code P0019 - Cam Sensor Correlation.
They reflashed the ECM and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Talked with the Service Consultant and he said he had seen a number of FR-S come through and in all cases the reflash or replacing the ECM has fixed the problem.

Here's hoping...

Damn! Just got my BRZ on Thursday.. See what surprises await. :/ Currently at 680mi. Have experienced a rough shake when completely stopped. Is that the start to this problem?

That is what I had just before my FR-S gave me the CEL/SL lights. Think it was about a month for me from the first rough idle to that.

Have my frs checked in at the dealer for CEL. They will keep my car for couple of days to drive it to regenerate the code again. Hope to get my car back soon.
