I just got mine in...but I am still waiting for the Power Magic to arrive. I am trying to decide if I'll put the 500 in the back, or move my 400 to the back and mount the 500 to the front. It looks like I might have issues with the rear view mirror with the front mount, as the 500 is quiet a bit bigger than the 400!

so how much are you fellas shelling out for the 500 and a magic pro...and i wonder if we REALLY need a rear facing camera. i mean i always back into all parking spaces...and all i want is to have an interior view to be honest, not a rear windshield view.

Have anyone else got any antivirus notices when putting the MicroSD that is included in the Blackvue DR500GW-HD into a computer?
I'm running F-Secure Anti-Virus, and it detected "Win32.Worm.DownadupINF.Gen" in the autorun.inf file that is included on the MicroSD card. F-Secure deleted the file before I could look closer into it, so I'm interested to hear if anyone else have noticed this, or if my antivirus was a bit trigger-happy. I would be careful putting this card into a computer without antivirus, and autorun enabled on memory cards until others can confirm/deny this issue. If my card really was infected most likely there will be others... |

I purchased a 32GB card to replace the 16GB that came with it, and when the BlackVue formatted it, it didn't have any malware on it, so it looks like it was on the card and not on the camera's firmware that formats the card. This is odd though, since I thought the first time I powered up the camera with the card that came with it, it mentioned it was formatting the card. |

yeah looks like all the black vue cards come blank and thats how you get the software onto it.
I got my 400hdII for a great price but after hearing about the wifi for the 500.... damn... the camera discards files pretty quick so i will have to go to a higher sized card or maybe 2 cards if i dont want drive videos to be deleted. If i had the wifi, i could just save vids on the tablet. |

In any case, the latest firmware out right now is 1.003 which is the same version already on the camera as distributed. |

It's already on your camera, and that's the same version that corresponds to the Korean firmware on Blackvue's site.
