I bought from DVN, and I had a great experience. Been in twice so far, and no issues at all. In saying that, I hear all your comments and understand too. But my dealer was great. Guess it depends on who you get.

Only downfall was I waited 5 months, but it was fine in my situation, and damn well worth the wait.

Yeah I have nothing against DVN. I don't know how I would have felt walking into that mall for a service though. Also I noticed they have an automatic car wash but not a touchless, I know for a fact I would have been telling them not to put my car through that thing...

But anyways, in the end things I don't need to worry about..

DVN is full of people that have no clue, and liars. The salesperson that I had to wait 45 mintues for because he was the "FRS Expert" told me (in order):

1) that he hates sports cars
2) can't understand why anyone would want a manual car and that I was stupid for not wanting the automatic version
3) that they have parts in stock to get the car over 300hp before delivery while keeping warranty (this was in EARLY june)
4) that they could have the car for me in a week
5) tried to convince me to put a deposit down after only having driven the automatic, despite me telling him when I walked in I wasn't putting anything down until I drove a manual one
6) lied to me, saying their manual demo wouldn't be in for months (it was in a week later) and that I should just order the manual, and they would put in the contract that if I didn't like it AFTER delivery I could walk away with no penalties (BS).
7) again that they could have the car ready for delivery in less than a week.

I walked out, called a couple other dealers and had driven the manual one in under an hour with zero pressure. I ordered mine from Weitzes late June (28th or 29th), and it was at the dealership by July 10th. People that ordered from DVN weeks before me took delivery months after me.

I don't know why anyone with half a brain would bother with DVN. As wparson said, I ordered mine June 28 from Yorkdale and picked it up July 14 (it arrived July 7 but I was on vacation). Also knocked $600 off MSRP. DVN told me they could give me 2 free oil changes!
