Funny enough Kama and I were just there last night at the hawaiian place (not together, just by coincidence, haha). I might be able to meet up too, I have to back to work by 1 though.

Correct, however I use a light blend of 76's 100 octane with Shell's/Chevron's CA 91, to get to approx 93 octane. I fill with about 2 gals of 100 and fill up with 93. It did seem to get the 'butt-dyno' to register a bit of an improvement. However, I do still have the crickets (slightly) due to the ethanol content. I did fill up with Chevron for the first time this weekend (car's 2 month old) and I don't think that I heard the same level of chirping as before with the 'top-tier' Nitrogen-enhanced Shell.

my $0.02 - using high percentages of ethanol blend will eventually cause the price of corn flakes and other corn-based foodstuffs to increase in price, like beef, for you carnivores. As an Iowa-born boy, I stopped using ethanol (at the time, Sinclair was the only one w/o it) because the alcohol ate up my precious german cloth-bound fuel hoses in my VW and made the car run like crap, circa 1986, YMMV.

Your butt Dyno needs calibration. There is no way mixing a little 100 octane gives more power. It's been proven.

Some tuners for euro cars are starting to make 87 tunes because when they optimize for that specific octane and are getting the same HP. Higher octane fuels can allow for advanced timing be used it burns hotter and quicker, but if your not tuned it will do nothing. You should just quit wasting money and run 91.

Plus it's just a $25k Toyota, I don't understand why everyone treats it like $250k exotic.
