Just made an inquiry for all of the parts to replace the silver ones: total price for all the parts (not including shipping) was around $250. So cheap!

Any idea on when I can hear back and actually place an order/pay?

for just the buttons and the shifter surround, you can just pop those parts right out; either pull up by the edge of the shift boot or use a plastic pry tool to pull it out. The buttons are just have 2 screws holding it to the bezel and it just plugs right in. If you do the parts connected to the knee pads, you dont have to pull the e brake boot up but it would make life easier. I was able to pull the center console back just far enough to get them in without removing the e brake boot.

If you want a guaranteed safe way to do it do this.

With both hands grab the bottom of the e-brake panel and lift straight up, you just need to loosen the tab closer the front of the car. This will expose the bottom of the shift surround just to the left and in front of the switch panel, put a flat head below there (or a finger) and lift up. Bam!

If you use the flathead make sure you don't tear the e-brake boot by accident.

For anyone wondering, I was able to just place an order for the black TCS buttons and black shift surround at my toyota dealership. List price is $46 and $12 respectively, no shipping costs. I wasn't able to get my guy to find anything under the part numbers for the door levers though (the chrome painted part you pull to open the door)
