This isnt a feature i would want in my next car, dodgy dubois people around here, potential theft opportunity.
Even if it starts and move it will detect that the key is out of range very shortly.

Direct-sun shots taken with cheaper or incorrectly colour-balanced cameras often do a poor job of showing what a car colour will look like in the flesh. There's quite a bit of digital noise in the shot; gross digital enhancement artifacts are evident around the car door lettering; and note the blue/purple flaring around the wheel rims, a common problem with older and lower-grade digital cameras.

I'm trying to withhold judgement until I see it in person.

I loved the Aspen White STIs but HATED the Satin White Pearl cars so I'm just hoping that the car will look better in SWP in person than the STI did lol

I think I'll have to visit multiple dealers to see the colors in person before picking

Some of the current Subarus have SWP and DGM, the Legacy has the black color, and the WRX has lightning red. I made an album with high res photos of them:

What you can't see in the photos is that SWP has a glittery look to it. I'd really prefer a basic white.

Absolutely. I'll just have to see them on the lot to know for sure.

The smart key fobs are waterproof. I left mine (I have a Prius for a daily commuter...not proud of it ) in my pocket on accident and went through the wash and came out fine (and wicked clean!)

It's not the camera, it's still an ugly blue! It's too dark and not enough purple metallic. If it was more like the IS-F, Supra Blue or a Toyota/Yamaha blue then it would be better.

I wish we could get that IS-F blue, that color is amazing, such a pop to it.

Maybe that might be the case... mistaken identity! The BRZ blue sort of looks like Toyota's Speedway Blue.
