They will never come out. You have to purchase the universal mats and trim it. If you look at post #4, they provide lines so you know where to trim.
so the all vehicle ones are the heavy rubber? might just go to pepboys and go that route.

FYI guys I live in Il near the weather tech manufacturing facility/factory store In IL . They haven't run the production run for the digi liners yet. But will be doing so in the next few business days.

I was going to pick up today at the factory store and was told this over the phone by a customer service rep.

These floor liners are the better than the heavy rubber ones and worth every penny and the wait time. They are not plastic. They are a more stiff rubber/polymer combo. But have the same texture as a rear floor liner for a Forster/SUV.

This will be the 4th vehicle I'm putting them in.

Does anyone have experience with both the Weathertech digital fit and nice thick rubber all weather mats like in bimmers? I really liked the bmw ones and I'm trying to determine if I should give the digifit a try. What pros and cons have you noticed for each and which do you prefer?

I hope they aren't waiting for a minimum number of orders before starting production.

I decided to go with the digital fit instead of the rubber mats because of the snow(Canada). All the dirt is contained in the mats.

it's not flexibility that concerns me, it's lack of grip. i wouldn't want my feet slipping on them.

well i picked up the WeatherTech All Vehicle Mats from pepboys for the same $50 price and they are exactly what i wanted, a nice heavy rubber mat that fits great and won't shift around. i took a short drive with them and feel that i've cut them to fit pretty well. i used the stock carpet mats as templates. the driver's side required the removal of 3 sections while the passenger size fit as is. i used a utility knife to cut them as i found it easier than scissors.

lastly, i made a quick image to show the pieces i cut out for anybody who would like to do the same:

nah although i'm sure you could try to get them to by making your own holes. i don't think they need it though.
