I hope there is a USB port in the bin between the seats as well, otherwise it might be annoying when shifting.

It would be a nice touch. If not, I hope someone makes a custom '86 emblem. Such a beautiful trademark logo. It reminds me of a superhero's logo from the Justice League or something.

Oh and if it is the same as the Prado's its double din.
Also the same deck as in the Corolla. Good that it is double din, means half the dashboard doesnt have to be mutilated when upgrading.

Shift stick reverse is engaged not in the same setting as all 6speed Subaru models from the right bottom, but the top left.

ignition key hole is on the left side of the steering column.

In the close up of the HVAC controls and such you can see a different radio setup is available. Maybe a single DIN mechless head unit?

As long as the HU functionality is decent I'll probably just run it into a MS8 or bit.1 (or 10), etc instead of replacing the head. I'd want bluetooth and iPod control. If it has both I won't have to deal with the HU at least.

And for leaving a ipod there, but a lot more hidden. That center console location will scream "break into me" if there's a USB cable connected to it.

Uh oh, that shifter looks very Subaru... if true, you're going to want a short shifter and full hybrid bushings shifter and tranny side. Interior is nicely done though. A shame if those audio rumors are true and it lacks a quality sound system.

I'm guessing all of them in the US will have 6 speakers. Number of speakers doesn't really speak to audio quality though (not by themselves anyways - I have less drivers in my car now than it did when it was new and it sounds worlds better than it did new).

So does the space for the stereo look like it might be standard double DIN like in the tC? It looks a bit short to me. I'm really hoping I can plunk my current Sony unit into this car for its bluetooth features.

It looks like it's 1.75din.. I'm guessing some lens distortion and based on others saying this same HU is in some other Toyotas that are double din.. I'd guess double din.

You're right, the sides do look really stretched by the lens. Here's hoping. I really hate how lots of new cars aren't supporting standard stereo replacement anymore.

Same here, which is why I was planning an MS8 or Bit.1 for this car lol

I'd love a standard radio slot with no funky wiring BS to deal with for this car. I might even install some real gear into it.
