I was out from 5-6am, roads were fine. People were stupid but roads were fine.

If they want the road to be more heavily utilized they really ought to raise the speed limit. Who wants to pay an expensive toll to go slow as hell?

They only pull people over at 71 and up and usually only ticket people at 75 and up. I put on cruise control at 70 and try to hit every turn perfectly, and it kind of makes up for having to go slow as balls. I agree though, hell, let me go 90.

I've heard. I've got no business on 200 so I've never been, but even if I wanted to I wouldn't because of how policed it is.

@thejevans I understand that...but it still has to piss you off.

They actually have their own police division lol. During rush hour, they have 4 cars set up as speed traps across 18 miles. Ridiculous.

I agree with everyone about the ICC. It's a great idea but why the hell is it a toll road if there's nothing special about it? Of course it cost a lot of money to build, but all roads do. They don't make you pay a toll for 95 or 495. It's a sham and I hate when I have to use it, but I also love it because it makes it a lot easier to get where I have to go.

The problem is that the state gov't is doing everything they can to make more money (raising tolls, taxes, speed cameras, slots, etc), because they're spending too much money. Supposedly the toll on the Bay Bridge was supposed to go away once it was paid for, of course that never happened.

I've played Sim City though, so I know how it expensive it can be to make things better for the population. I just wish they'd make the road a high speed expressway sort of thing and let you go 80-90 MPH.

Speed limits are artificially low. Lowering of interstate speed limits to 55MPH was a response to the oil embargo. We're way past that; why are the speed limits still 55MPH?
