Can't wait to tune & bump limiter.
The stock limiter is horrible. With my tune I get almost 64mph. Plus I had him keep the speed when you are on the limiter instead of loosing mph

If i have to go into third and i could have several times i hold it at 7k. I learned that from the senior guys by listening to their cars.

Or could it be allowed if your region gives leeway??

Look forward to other's thoughts!

Thanks,

Correct. It's illegal at the national level. Your region may allow it, or the other drivers may not care, at least until you start winning.

STX

Just found this really good thread. Subscribing.

I'm not a newbie but here's my first question (I searched). Has anyone removed the rear bar and if so why and what did it do for the car?

My suspension is Ground Control.

Thanks

No lie. I rode the limiter for nearly 3/4 of a second and I have less grip than you (I run 215s to his 245s, still in RTR). I SO wish I would have shifted during the final slalom. 3rd gear would have put me RIGHT on Terry's time in my car (he was .15 faster). Maybe have even given you a run

You did very well, Henry--good job!

Your softer rear springs, alignment & bar more than made up for my wider tires on that course/surface

^^^ lol

Henry, how much did I miss softer rear springs & a bar out there? I uploaded my 2nd pass, where I tried to drive @ 10/10ths. I gave up on the drifting after the rear slalom section... lol

I had to really drop rear pressures & back off a bit on the red mist to make the car behave!

Ah. If its like my car, it had zero rear toe stock. Just dialing about 1/8" total rear toe made a huge difference in high speed transitional stability.

I used about a 1/16th Toe (each) in the rear until I did front bar, 0'd it back out afterwards.

Race tires or street tires? You tend to be able to get away with less toe in my experience with race tires.
