Takumi's cousin? His father owns that Pizza hut and he is doing deliver to help out? He may drift the car really well...I wonder if the pizza toppings are still staying on top when delivered? LOL...

I deliver pizzas in my FRS. i get to drive it ALL the time, and i get good money doing it. the car is paid in full, and i have other sources of income so i don't have to worry about bills or anything like that. plus i get paid for every mile i drive, as well. and for now i'm putting napkins under the rubber bases on the magnets. just until i get my vinyl to protect the paint from them

edit: and my car won't smell like pizza, i keep the pizzas in the trunk. it's okay if my trunk smells like pizza.

Damn on top of the 44k a year?? I'm deff in the wrong line of work.. As a huge military family, depending on how you look at it, you make a good living serving in the military.. Fort Irwin, is full of lotus's, vettes from base to a ZR1.. More then a hand full of the new GT500. BMW M3 and M5's 50k all the way up to a 100k Benz.. Escalades upon escalades.. A ZL1 camaro and such.. As a PV1 that 1k a month doesn't sound like a lot.. And if your living on it.. It's not.. But when all living expenses are paid for, all food and medical is paid for.. Then a thousand to blow a month is more then pocket change.. And once you make some rank.. It just goes up from there.. The problem is with soldiers that think the military will support them, a wife and 5 kids with two car payments, and a house of financed furniture and what not.. Growing up as a family of 4 seeing the world and having my father home a lot more then his previous job.. We lived good, and had everything my brother and I ever needed and pretty much wanted..

Im in no way mocking the pay that enlisted members of the military get. Basic pay for an e1 really isnt much even after you add in all the allowances they give you. But I do know how much potential there is in staying with the military. Anyone willing to risk their life for our country deserves the money. Only reason im not in the army right now is because they found out I have asthma in MEPS. No offense ment in my post.

MPs in the USAF get BAS along with their regular pay, because our hours prevent us from eating at the chow hall.

and the people asking about making good money while delivering, i made $113 last night working from 4:30-2, plus my $4.25 an hour on the road, and $7.25 an hour in the store. it's much better money than i thought it would be

That's what I came to type. People get bored not having a job, and what better job to have than one that forces you to drive a shitty and boring car like that! Could be a second job too.

Yeah, I see that and think "second job." A few hours delivering pizzas on evenings/weekends should cover the car payment, and as others have noted, it's a good excuse to spend more time driving.

Military has it's perks, depending on your AFSC/MOS and whether your primary AFSC has 4 or 5 characters ... I've never had to worry about chow hall's etc. But I can say in the past I've been paid 118 a day for 90 days, while staying in a 5 star hotel, on top of my base pay, BAS, and BAH... Big saving when you're a cheap ass like myself. Plenty of similar opportunities arise throughout the branches... Very comfortable living on a daily basis, and gobs to be made TDY & on deployments.

But if the opportunity arises to do the same thing I'm currently doing on the civilian side, damn right I'm going to take it. lol

Oh man I love when people post shit like this. Some of us are not as fortunate as others to have amazing jobs. I drive a brz and work at Starbucks is that funny to you as well? But guess what I only owe 4k now and I got my first loan with no credit and I didn't need a cosign.

Next time have respect for the man who is busting his ass and has taste to drive an awesome car.

I wouldn't go that far. Sure, he could save the money and put it towards buying his own house if he still lives at home. I know I delivered pizza for a local shop starting my senior year in HS and all the way through college. I lived at home with no bills other than a cell phone, car insurance, bike payment and eventually a car payment. Delivering pizza paid for my 98 YZ250 in 8 months and it allowed me to pay off the first brand new vehicle I ever had, a 2000 Tacoma 4cyl, 4x4 ext cab. It was paid off in about 3.5 years. The last year and a half was paid for by my current job though.

One thing I did notice though, is that my tips didn't seems as high when I delivered in the truck compared to when I used my 87 Corolla beater. People probably thought, he's apparently making enough to have a new truck so here's $1 (or less) to bring me my food 10 miles away so I used the beater most of the time. Granted, gas prices were MUCH lower too! I can remember stopping after deliveries and filling up for $0.899.

I bet if I had an FRS then, I probably could have squeezed a few more runs into a shift. The cheese may have been displaced though couldn't imagine why though....
