Again my post was way back in july before the avalon and corolla badges were discovered

Or you can look at post #23 where I posted both of the part #s and what they belong to

Yea, but it'd rather leave it there to protect the paint for as long as possible.

Haha I must be the only person in the world who thinks the Scion badge looks better than the Toyota one:

I agree! If you ignore the historic relevance, I think the Scion logo looks so much cooler.

So if you change your badges, does it add 10 hp every time to change one to a Toyota badge?

Still don't understand the badging.... Scion = Toyota. If someone asks, just tell them it's a branch of Toyota. A free 3 second sentence. Telling them it's a Toyobaru will cause brain overload.

Good point although different part number doesn't necessarily mean different part.

I'm on the Scion badge side of the looks as well. My only problem is I don't like the chrome and haven't seen a good option for blacking them out. I think the look bad with the letters also blacked out, so I may try to do a blacked out with color matched letters. Just can't decide.

I'm also not crazy about forcing the front one off. I just know I'll be the one person where the bumper cover gives way before the badge pins.

Yeah. Didn't realize how old this thread was, I was searching it. Not a big deal.

Why add those lights you added and the other cosmetic mods on your car, they don't add HP or performance?!?! This is a cosmetic mod thread, maybe you should look up the word cosmetic? Let people do what they want and leave the judgement at the door.

Lights actually serve a purpose. They're brighter, better colored, and not dull. HID's look way better than regular headlights especially since we have projectors and the stock projectors are nice. Mine provide a lot of light. My interior LED is very bright compared to stock. The license plate and reverse are purely cosmetic.

Badges aren't changing anything. You're simply changing a SCION logo because you can't stand that it says SCION on it and wished it was a Toyota GT86. Well, too bad.

So after you spend a few hundred dollars on rebadging, then people notice you don't have fog lights, what are you going to tell them? Oops?

If you're comparing my light kit vs stock to simply changing a badge for a badge, lol.

The main reason this gets to me is people are "ashamed" to have Scion logos on their car like it's some sort of curse. It's rather hilarious. It's a damn badge. Spend your money on more useful cosmetics like lights, wheels, body kits, or springs.

Once again I spent 50 bucks on my badging and please don't come into threads spewing nothing but judgement on people for modding their car whatever way they want. That is a quick trip to violating the rules of the forums and getting removed. Saying it is "dumb" or "stupid" for someone to do it is a comment that doesn't need to be made. If people want they can put any logo or badge they want on their car. Go take some prozac and mellow out and like I said please stop bashing others in the forums or I will bring this up to the moderators.
