Man, I wish the Firebird event was on Saturday or Sunday... There is no way I could make it there before like 9pm tomorrow...

*sigh*

I'm sure that once I get the rear end sorted I wouldn't mind letting people drive it. Right now though the rear end has a mind of it's own when you get in the gas, it's a little unnerving. Speaking of which I need access to a suspension guru to help me set this thing up...wink wink @Evil86

I hope you aren't suggesting I know how to do a suspension set up, I just happen to be well situated in the local autox community and I know who to ask for help. The two helping me built one of the quickest DSP cars in the nation, which I have had the pleasure of driving for four runs.

In general, cheap suspension sucks. Minimum is aftermarket springs matched w/Koni Sports (or Bilsteins, but they won't be out for a while). A better setup would be coilovers w/Koni. Coilovers give more clearance for fat rubber, and you can experiment with spring rates easily.

Any other dampers I would consider cost much more than konis: Moton, MCS, and the such. Probably $5, 000, more or less, including the coilovers.

Also, dual adjustability is good, but it will cost around 1, 600 in shop labor for the konis. I would guess that a stiff adjustable front would settle down the rear.

I am running KW V3's with Vorshlag camber plates and adjustable rear lower control arms. i also have the Whiteline subframe inserts as well. What i need it to sit down and talk/adjust my suspension to help it hook up with the additional power that I have and am planning on making. I am also planning on buying a second set of wheels for track duty running Hoosier A6's. My problem is that I just don't even know where to start when it comes to setting up a car's suspension. I used to be able to do sportbike suspension but "feeling" a car's suspension seems harder for me.

Have a look here to see what I've done I'm really only missing sway bars since I am trying to get them as part of a sponsorship deal:

Just got to bake this one and its done. 4 of the leds on the other strip were either going bad or they used the wrong color temp as they were a tad yellow. Will have to pick up another strip today.
