Man, I wish the Firebird event was on Saturday or Sunday... There is no way I could make it there before like 9pm tomorrow...

I'm sure that once I get the rear end sorted I wouldn't mind letting people drive it. Right now though the rear end has a mind of it's own when you get in the gas, it's a little unnerving. Speaking of which I need access to a suspension guru to help me set this thing up...wink wink @Evil86

Stupid ban, stupid vendor rules, stupid mods, just stupid. Now I need to find a work around, and rear the last two pages of this thread that seem to have popped up in the last 24 hours.

Still have to paint but I think I found the way I want the leds. They are white not blue.

In general, cheap suspension sucks. Minimum is aftermarket springs matched w/Koni Sports (or Bilsteins, but they won't be out for a while). A better setup would be coilovers w/Koni. Coilovers give more clearance for fat rubber, and you can experiment with spring rates easily. Any other dampers I would consider cost much more than konis: Moton, MCS, and the such. Probably $5, 000, more or less, including the coilovers. Also, dual adjustability is good, but it will cost around 1, 600 in shop labor for the konis. I would guess that a stiff adjustable front would settle down the rear. I Last edited by Evil86; 01-25-2013 at 09:06 AM. Reason: clarity |

Just got to bake this one and its done. 4 of the leds on the other strip were either going bad or they used the wrong color temp as they were a tad yellow. Will have to pick up another strip today.
