Went out to shovel the driveway tonight, and what do you know....all I hear is pssssssssh! Tire is going flat
It's too damn cold out to get the spare on myself, and Scion's Roadside Assistance is busy! I was told an hour or 2 just to talk to someone! Just my luck! |

That sucks. At least it didn't happen while you were driving. That reminds me, I should really be checking my tire pressure. It is so easy to become dependant on TPMS.

Interesting. I have a hard time getting it into 1st and especially R in the cold morning. 2nd is rough for me, but it goes in... it doesn't need to be carefully forced in like I seem to have to do with R and 1.

Saw an Argento FR-S pass by my work at Westmount and Erb yesterday around 1pm?
I've seen more FR-I (plural of S) in the last couple of weeks than I have in the 6 months before that. As you can see, the harsh, frigid temperatures of southwestern Ontario stir the FR-S from their nest and force them to forage for petrol much farther than they would normally venture. However, the young FR-S is not timid of the cold air or hostile climate; in fact, it arguable thrives and excels in it. The screeching of its tires and rumble of its flat-four Boxer engine are telltale signs of the FR-S' enjoyment. |

LoL FBaxteR-S! I was just thinking how I love my FR-S just as much in the winter. It's a blast! So far quite controllable when it needs to be.
Love your house hippo-esque prose!

hey guys i'm wondering what your thoughts would be about aftermarket rims, I was thinking 18's, also i'd like to go for wider rims on the rear of the car, has anyone put 8 inch wide wheels and tires on their FRS?

There are plenty of people running wider than that even. Check out the wheels, tires and spacers section of the forum. DarrenDriven has a fitment guide that he maintains that might help.

On this note can anyone explain how the tire width thing works based on rim width? 8 inches is not even 205mm, and the stock tires are 215s. If I wanted to go with a square 245 setup, would I need 9.5" wheels?
