Aw, that's so cool of them! Reminds me of the movie "Hachiko" (Japanese) or "Hachi" (American) based on a true story, it was such a good movie, so good that I think it's the only movie that actually brought tears to my eyes. It's a must watch, but make sure to have some tissues with you by your side.

Great childhood memory! Reminds me of a story my mom told me...

When my mom was young, she had a huge German Shepherd. It was really big and intimidating looking - but a total sweetheart. For people who did not know the dog, they would be terrified to see it chasing the neighborhood cats down the sidewalk. Looking like it was about to eat them! But when it got to them, it would gently pick them up by the scruff of their neck, toss them on it's back and take them for rides.

So a little back story. I live in on-campus housing so no pets. My mother was keeping my cat, Gaz, at her house while I went to college. She lived close enough to campus that I could go there several days a week and visit. But my mother moved to a place where she couldn't keep pets. So I had to take Gaz out to my dad's place to stay.

Gaz and her mother and younger brother stayed with me for about a week before that and I managed to get a few pictures before they left. The stoned cat in the background is her younger brother.

I am like Indiana Jones when it comes to snakes. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh boy.

Question for the folks with lizards and dragons: what do you do for fun? For instance, my dog likes to play fetch. And my cat likes it when I dangle the shoelace in front of her. Just curious.
