I heard the telltale "bish its cold" crack as they went down, but went up without a hitch. Temp said around 21? It wasn't too far off.

I start the car up 10 minutes before I leave to work and it runs fine. Unless you mean the gauge not showing negative temps. If that happens, it will be the second most exciting thing I see since I moved from the Middle East!

Haha I dont think we will get into negative temps anytime soon just wondering if the temp gauge was off or if its my car only. Just wondering things like windows, shifting, starting issues, creaks in bushings etc

My windows rarely had that stick to them when I opened the door and when it did, it was just once and never did it again for the day. As for shifting, second gear requires some effort till the car's temp gauge went above the line. I've read somewhere in the forum about changing the oil but it had lots of oil types and numbers and symbols that made me look elsewhere. Wish I read through that forum and found a summary somewhere...
Car sounds fine, runs fine. Just feels a bit cold I guess and requires a smooth warm up session.

Didn't check temp, but it was 9F this morning. Windows worked fine, actually better than they did when the temp started dropping last week. 2nd gear however continues to misbehave and 1st continues to degrade as temps drop. 1st requires serious double clutching to get into at any speed from a neutral roll and 2nd I don't think I've bothered even trying to get into double clutching or not.
