I personally think they should go with a hot, fierce brown

Off wikipedia lol
]*The 2004*xA*and*xB*were unveiled at the*Greater Los Angeles Auto Show*on January 2, 2003. They were available only in 105 Toyota dealerships in California at their initial launch on June 6, 2003. The subsequent rollout of the brand to the South, the Southeast, and the East Coast occurred in February 2004. Scion vehicles were available nationwide in June 2004, coinciding with the release of the 2005*tC.[1]*On December 16, 2006, Scion unveiled the next-generation*xB, based on the*t2B*concept, and the new*xD, successor of the xA, at an invitation-only, no-camera event in Miami. Both cars were then publicly unveiled on February 8, 2007 at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show.[7

That wouldn't surprise me, Absolutely Red has been used more than once in the Release Series lineup that there is nothing special about it anymore;

xA RS 1.0
tC RS 1.0
xB RS 6.0
tC RS 8.0

That is to say, I like modding cars with sporty items made by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's tuning shop. Spoon and Mugen for Honda, Nismo, for Nissan, sti, or SPT for Subaru, etc.

I ultimate goal is a build a hybrid JDM/USDM FR-S.

-It would keep the Scion Badges
-Have the TRD AREO
-TRD brakes
-TRD calipers
-Full-length Ride Adjustment Suspension Set (40-way Damping Adjustment)
-Stabilizer Set (Front & Back)
-TRD Brake Rotors
-TRD Exahust(the one offered by scion)
-TRD Rear Diffuser Set
-TRD Door Stabilizer (pretty much useless but it's the small details)
-TRD carbon Front Strut Tower Bar
-Member Brace Set
-TRD Radiator Cap

from JDM

-the red interior parts from the GT"LIMITED" (sans seats)
-The red-backed cloth seats from the GT
-fog lights (if not offered on the release series)
-headlights

haven't decided on wheels yet.

-either TRD SF2 or TRD TF6(depends on what color the release series is)

My whole point with this car is to build something that I love. something that looks nice to me.

I could care less about fast times and forced induction. I want a car that I can enjoy at speed, enjoy the road in front of me, and the world around me.

I also feel a need for a disclaimer. I don't plan on doing this over a period of months or even a year. I plan on doing this throughout as long as own the car which is to say, i plan on keeping until the day I die. I don't want to hoon around like a yob. just to take it easy. Driving is a joy for me. even if I'm sitting in traffic.

After you added all your "TRD" stuff... You could buy another FRS.. He'll the brakes alone are almost half of the base price of an FRS

and your point is? I'm not buying an FR-S to be cheap. I'm buying one to be fun, to be accentuate the driving experience.

I wouldn't mind that color either.

My point is nothing.. It's your money to do what ever you want.. I would'nt put 20k worth of stuff on a 25k car.. Be my guest and do what you want.. Id put half the that money on better quality parts.. Just me

Honestly, if they simply re-badged the Toyota GT86 that's sold everywhere else in the world (meaning HID's, Fogs, Push Button Start, Center Console layout, Red Stitching, Alcantra, etc.) as the Release Series, I'd probably buy it on the spot.

And before anyone says to just get a BRZ, I prefer the GT86 lights, front bumper, and suspension setup, and would rather not spend even more having to convert those things
