so there are two different headlights available then?

Modellista has front facing headlamp LEDs
While the normal version is missing them.

Not really. Both brochures are JDM models(written in Japanese). LED DRL should be optional or in (a) certain trim level(s) for JDM model. Thought, USDM might have LED DRL as an option.

That is what I was wondering about whether the USDM would even get the LED DRL as an option?

I don't know, but it's possible. Scion might sell it as a dealer-installed option. IIRC, tC has fog light as a dealer-installed option, so I don't see why they don't do the same thing to make money.

like someone suggested earlier, it might depend on the trip level (like they do with other Japanese cars). So maybe if you buy the stock one with no stereo and no extras you might get the ordinary headlights. I sure hope that I am wrong and you are right, because I would love to have them as an option.

Also, if we compare the two (red and white cars) we can see that the fog lights also seem to be optional.

While I agree, there might be manufacturing constraints we are not aware of. Sharp corners are also weaker parts to my understanding.

the scion is perfectly fine without all the RICE add-ons.
It's a beauty.
My only issues is the rice Altezza-style tailights.
If the Subaru and Scion get the same power.
I will buy a Scion and put Subaru badges on it haha.
I'm too old to be driving a Scion.

lol because its not RICE to put the wrong badge on a car... but yeah, I agree with you about the tailights. I'll be going all-red on them.

Ppl seem to forget that Toyota invented the Altezza / IS200 / IS300 Tails...

Maybe taking a design que from another one of their historic vehicles...

^ regardless if the clear lens tail lights originated from Toyota. It was still a stupid design. Clear taillights with chrome plating on any car look bad, even on the Altezza itself. The factory RX300+ looked bad with it, the factory 08 STI looked bad with it.

Its one thing if the reflectors are clear, those typically look super clean. But having chrome accent around tail lamps is
