Will the STG1+ kit require a stronger clutch? Or will the stock clutch hold up?

it just becomes a question of WHEN

I've read several tuners slip the stock clutch on dyno at ~280-290whp

The more tired your clutch gets, the less whp (TQ actually, but nevermind) it needs to slip away

so be far-looking at upgrading the clutch to have worryless months\years of fun, not days

cheers

Will there be a way with either the Vortech or the Innovative to run flex fuel. I know I saw something in another post somewhere about using a waste gate on the vortech to run a bigger blower but cap the boost so you get maximum boost earlier in the power band. Is it possible to run a waste gate to dial back boost depending on the amount of E85 you're running?

I want both, and I will have both. If I had to choose, I would take the 30 mpg.

Except if you live where I live. E85 is 10cents more expensive than Premium.

The 2013/14 3.7L V6 Mustang makes 305 bhp and gets 31mpg freeway (or better).

Yeah I know, it's BHP but still. If Ford can do it why can't... well you get it.

I was just throwing numbers out there, the dyno numbers everybody has been asking for aren't even out(from Visconti, whose thread this is) and people are already asking for the mpg numbers. I figure next on the list they will want to know the db level of the supercharger whine...

BHP yes, plus the drive ratio is drastically different compared to our 6 speed.

Drive a 300whp SC or TC 86 at 2000 RPM on the highway(whatever speed that is lol) and you will most likely get higher than 30mpg too.
