windshield wiper brands?
Whatever the OEM ones are, are junk,
anything below -5 or so and the joins/rubber start to freeze (even if i'm blasting full heat on to the window) and you get those annoying streaks (since the rubber isn't making contact) that are rather hazardous. i'll probably get some Crappy-Tire teflon ones (they did a'lright on my old cars) but was wonder if anyone found some sort of super-duper wipers that hold up to extreme low temperatures?

I don't have a problem with the OE wipers at all. On my other cars (which admittedly, are all Toyotas), I've tried other brands of wipers, but have always gone back to using OE refills (just the rubber part).
Have you tried cleaning the blades? |

Omg the stock ones are horrid in cold snowy weather!!! I went with Bosch icons and haven't had streaking yet.

I figured that they would be, but since I was a proponent of the OE blades, that was the best suggestion I had.... Maybe the bosch ones will work for you |

Saw a TV spot recently for some new Michelin wipers - look fancy but haven't seen any comments or reviews of them.

Under a certain temp. I think they are all the same...
It's most likely the ice and crap that get's stuck inbetween and on the blade. Had it today on the drive to work, was utterly annoying.

You can try PIAA silicone. I'm not sure how they work in freezing temps though.
