The first BRZ sold in North America was my first car ever.
I had looked at the used market before putting money down, but given the type of cars I was looking at, I had a hard time believing previous owners babied it. |

I think buying new can actually make sense financially, as long as you keep the car a long time -- it'll be easier to keep longer as it has its full life ahead of it, and replacing cars costs $$$ in taxes, especially if you live in a state with high sales tax. Also less maintenance costs with the full warranty from the beginning.
Also nothing can replace that factory fresh feel... I've only ever owned one new car in my life so far, but even years after I bought it I still had a sense of pride of it being my "new" car.

Mine popped my new car cherry. Wasn't the most pain free process but the car was worth the wait.

...do they make them any other way?
![]() Edit: Ironically, all of our current cars have the same 2.0 H4 motor, albeit with wildly different HP ratings.

This is my first car purchase ever(used or new). 24 years old. 6 year loan. I live in Ohio so I still have my 1996 Toyota Camry (156k miles) that I was given at 15 1/2 as my winter car. Long live the Japanese car market
