Doggy,

I am having issues sending you private messages. Do you have your email or facebook listed some place? I would just like to ask you a few questions. Feel free to respond through a PM. Great work.

Thanks!

You need to remove airbag - and there are 2 screws that hold the center piece. Airbag removing is pretty simple: there are 3 holes around the steering wheel from back side - and you have to push inside these holes metal bars - just use flat screw driver - and you will hear click - and see airbag side pop up. Go all around on all 3 holes - and it will just pop out. You don't need to disconnect it even - just move it up - and you will have access to these 2 bolts.

I had a go last night, but managed to pop only one out. I will have another go when I am not as tired, sweaty, hungry, thirsty! Yeah, excuses, excuses!

Back from dead

One thing that was annoying me right from the first time I drove my FRS - that it aint had ANY Armrest. Sooooo - it was time to create something. And I started prototyping custom armrest with cup holder and hinges to open it up. This is just the mock up - still finalizing shape and how it will work.

This is how it will open up. Now I need to figure out how to mount it to the center console - and give it to reupholstery shop and it will be done.
