Most mediocre car ever built would have to be the Chevy Malibu. When have you ever heard someone say "come check out my malibu?" "daaaamn dude is THAT a malibu?!". It doesnt happen and yet theres thousands upon thousands of them in any one area. Its the car thats everywhere but never seen. I think its one of the most registered cars in the US, and yet, its invisible.

this is hard one for me, you would have to know some world history as in a span of 100 years..there were auto makers that only lasted less than 10 years and lots of them made some pretty mediocre.

i say start here..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._manufacturers

Maybe before most of your times, but anything AMC, was the 1st thing I thought of for a domestic car.

Yugo for something foreign.

Toyota Camry and Corolla. They define the term "transportation appliance" they tend to be good at what they do, relatively inexpensive, reliable transportation from point a to point b. Nothing exciting whatsoever.

Camry was my 1st thought. Get you there when you need it but no feeling at all.
