Also, I believe Visconti has an FAQ and instructions on his ticketing system page. http://viscontiflash.zendesk.com/access/unauthenticated

I believe once you sign up, you can get all the details.

hmm so im looking over the how to flash a tune article and it says select the rom thats been emailed to you... well i think thats where the problem is. i never received a rom in the mail. i thought that applying the license update would create a rom file or something of that sort. looks like i have to submit a ticket for the rom. thanks alot @Sportsguy83

Yeah, that's what you're missing - first you get the Visconti cable/dongle/license, you can then update the ECUTek software at this point but nothing else. Submit a ticket requesting your first tune indicating your dongle, transmission type, market, fuel, and intake (if you have an aftermarket). Visconti will then create your tune file and respond to the ticket where you can then download it to your laptop.

Take your laptop, plug it into your OBD2 connector, run the software, and flash with the file.

Seeing what you did with the RPM in the F/I thread, will this motor continue to make power with just intake and exhaust at 9000 rpm?

Highly doubtful. I seem to recall from most of the dynos i've seen that power starts to fall off around 7K RPM. Maybe with cams?

That was also on stock tune. I have both the 93 and E85 tunes and it pulls all the way to 8000 rpm in second. My goal is to get to 9000 rpm in every gear.

No, that was on reflashed (both Visconti and FA20 club.) Stock falls off around 6500.

Here's an E85 dyno for comparison, similar falloff point (albeit, maybe a SMIDGE higher).
