Auto zone rents tool, you maybe able to get one there. If not hit me up, no torque wrench but plenty of sockets

Is there anyone in the north part of SA, who has a manual FR-S or BRZ who wouldn't mind taking someone for a ride to see what it's actually like? Got my pre-approval from the bank today, and getting close to pulling the trigger, but I've only ever sat in a BRZ at the dealership for a couple minutes back around October, and they wouldn't let me start it, much less be taken for a test drive. And no worries, I won't ask to drive :P

Haha you really want to get a test in it. See if someone will let you passenger for our Twisted Sister drive in the morning. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25908 , Just FYI, its long, probably 4 or 5 hours easy.

It's been awhile so I am not sure. If your going to buy one do yourself a favor and don't get it from them. Craftsman will be a little more but worth the money

Oh wow, that's awesome! I'll have to post in there real quick. I think I'm supposed to go hunting Saturday afternoon, so I won't be able to go on a trip, but I'd sure love to check out yall's rides (and be laughed at in my poor 06 Jetta TDI I'm looking to trade in lol)! And if anyone's feeling froggy, maybe a little scoot around the parking lot would be phenomenal!

It starts pretty early, meeting at 7 but should roll out by 8 or so I think, then it can take about 4 hours to drive and get back, depends on how photo happy we get. Its definitely worth it, if you ride with someone who knows how to handle the car then you are in for a treat. my first time out was an experience and cant wait for tomorrow. If you want you can always just show up to the meet and greet at 7am and see if someone will take you for a spin. I would but I have an Automatic ^_^

That's so cool! Definitely wish I could make it on that trip, but those varmint's aint going to shoot themselves! Lol.

I know what you mean about taking a trip down a fun road. In fact, there's one of the most awesome roads I know of (20mi long Rocky Rd. off HWY 290), going up to my buddy's property in between Fredericksburg & Blanco (called Hye, TX), but it actually IS rock road for a good 7-8mi, and I'm certain people would dread potentially marring their coats. But lordy, it's fun. Always said I'd kill to take a WRX STi down it. As it is, its a blast taking it ~60mph in my TDI. Haha

Yup they rent them. All you gotta do is put a $50 deposit, once you're done using the tool you just bring it back and you get your money back. I've done this a couple of times when I needed some spring compressors.
