So my identical twin car here on base, the other red frs, got hit in the dorm parking lot. Looks like it took a decent sized car to the passenger side front fender. Maybe these cars are cursed by their low body lines, people aren't used to looking down that far (if they even look at all)

Thanks! Yeah, they're Motegi's MR125.

I got these mainly for autox, Evil86 kinda convinced me to get a another set to use. I'm planning on keeping my stock rims and tires for daily use, sorrrrry~
The car will feel much more in control; those stock tires are fine everyday all weather tires, but those will be much better. If you can, put the tires on the car tonight or tomorrow, that way the tires will get a little break in before Sunday.

For those who are interested in autox, the order of upgrades should be

tires, or better yet, tires and wheels

Suspension

intake exhaust/ecu

Be careful about upgrades if you want to be competitive in autox.

Stock - not much can change, tire width, wheels are stock size (and within a 1/4" of offset either way), cat back, air filter, and dampers. And a sway bar.

Stx - 9" wide wheels, 265mm tires, coil overs, camber plates, ecu, all all intake, some minor exhaust restrictions, seats, and some more stuff.

I know nothing about other class restrictions.

Back on the street!
Tech power washed underneath motor and put a dye in the cooling system to see if any leak.
I'm still getting the horrible burnt rubber odor though and have to crack the window, or else nausea!

Went to Raven Golf Club to eat lunch with some customers today and saw a white limited BRZ parked there. It was new with paper tags and I'm assuming it was purchased in Chandler because of its license plate frame. I'm tempted to make some business cards to leave on any FRS/BRZ I see in town

I know nothing about other class restrictions.
Plus one swaybar upgrade is allowed in stock. Front or rear, but not both.

We should ask them for their original file to modify.
