Its the one second to last on the right side or just hit Ctrl + F
I read somewhere that production would not even begin until may 2012

Thought most manuals look like that (note, this is just a random image found on google, not related to Toyota's at all)

The googled shifter picture is from a Nissan 350Z. When you consider
the exterior design of the FT-86 it appears alot has been 'borrowed' / inspired from the Nissan Z!?

The more I look at that interior the more it reminds me of porsche's interiors

Looks fine so far, even though there are extra stuff, except those gauges need to match up.

I'm loving it. Simple and straight forward. It looks like there may be options for the interior color? First picture of the interior has the red accents. There is a second one beside the picture of the autoshifter that has no red accents. It'll look sweet in orange too, I hope that its an option (exterior).

I was wondering if no one else had noticed this from these old mule pics I had seen it but never saw it mentioned, look at the red seats, its clear thats the same seat trim seen on the modellista car but on the oem based mule, I personally have always loved well done red Japanese interiors (various Type Rs)

But hell alot of likes dislikes about this car are all trivial things that come down to personal preference, we should all just be happy its getting made and looks so good

I do love the gauges on this thing though!
Nope, I don't even know what you wrote. I was generally speaking.

Both interior views are of the manual version, while the close up of the shift knob is of the automatic version.
Really nice email to get at 5 in the morning

Adds too much weight...lol but one of my buddies who recently ordered a scion TC said it came without a deck and he had to wait for it to come in separate as in dealer installed option, but who honestly knows.

My thoughts:
- centered tach, very nice. There is a red LED light right about the tach needle, maybe a programmable shift-point light? That would be a nice built-in feature. Couldn't care less about the color of the tach.
- shape of the gas paddle, me like. The bottom of it angles to the left a bit, it should be easy to heel-toe.
- Steering wheel, it's ok, i have no issues with it, as long as it has nice grip to it (like on the ITR).
- center console area, I like. No wasted space for cup holders in the front. the e-brake is very close to the shifter (for all of the e-brake drifters out there). The actual cup holders do seem to be almost like an insert that could be taken out if you don't like them.
- no audio, that's not a problem, if the price is lower with no stereo and speakers, I would be happy. I would like however if the cabling was pre-installed already from the dash to the speakers holes, in case you decide to install a stereo at some point.
- Not a fan of the side air vents, i don't like that style, the center vents are nice and slim.
- and the seats, would love to get them, but the chances are slim they will make it to the US. hoping for the headrest to have guide holes for a harness. I think we're looking at seats that would be similar to what you can find in a tC.
