But if I can get even more details, I'd really appreciate. I would like to add, I am running 235/35/18 Falkens on all 4 wheels. I appreciate all the insight and advice from all of you!
As I said before, no pressure.

The drop is mild so you won't be riding on the bump stops like you will with some of the more aggressive springs. You also won't have to cut your bumps as the RCE's come with new ones.

The spring rates are 250 lbs/in front and rear, so the car should retain the stock balance of you're BRZ but you (should) notice less body roll and dive.

My question to you would be have you noticed any yaw after switching tire?.

Also, RCE claims the ride is a little smoother with these on the car but grain of salt. I can tell you on the WRX this is 100% true, but the WRX was a terrible suspension.

This plus Konis or Billisteins (if RCE releases them) should make a less expensive coilover alternative that will actually be better than cheap coil overs in the the long run.

Mind you I haven't run these on the car so I'd advice PMing some folks who have (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16102) and asking them what they think long term.

Also @aaronosaurus has brought up a lot of good points, so please don't dismiss it because of my last post.

Last thing, if you decide you want to spend this money on go-fast bits instead of springs ATM, I would say a tune is where it's at.

This is a good debate going on suspension. I have to agree most people jump into suspension mods without knowing what the effects will be. To appreciate each mod one should wait to get to know the car, then mod based on what you feel needs attention, based on the experience you now have gained driving your car often enough and to its limits. There is also lots of reviews on setups, to each their own (some like a little comfort, others more track like without any comfort). I have the buddy club racing coilovers cause I wanted to lower it (due to body roll), chamber adjustment and overall rebound of the shocks. Remember too low can negitively effect a car and cause it to handle terribly. Yes, I have done track days with this car. Make sure you do your research. For anyone doing springs, I implore you to get front chamber plates, front crash bolts and rear chamber kit. This will allow you to fix the alignment issues, since stock has no adjustability. Sadly the engineers did not do the greatest job on the overall alignment, if you dont believe take your car stock to have the aignment checked each wheel is different (some by over .8 deg of chamber, toe is different too).

Man, you guys are going to make me want to join the "opti coat club"! In all honesty, I hadn't heard about it until hearing all you guys talking about it & seeing Got3n's car in person - it's amazing! Got3n & Ocho-Seis, could we handle another Opti-Coated Raven?

BTW - agree with Boosted, good discussion on suspension. I encourage those that are new to the car to wait & "feel" the suspension before throwing parts at it. I have many friends that have "ruined" their cars by installing new springs/coilovers/whatever without really understanding what they are doing. I also echo Boosted's comments on encouraging those that are updating their suspension to get camber plates/crash bolts/etc to be able to adjust alignment settings.

Mark me down as another happy customer of Jays. I had my whiteout done last week and Jay did a great job. He's also a real good guy and knows his stuff.
Here's before and after shots to check out if you're seriously considering getting your car opti coated.

Don't worry about it, we never run the center rings on the aftermarket wheels, even on the race cars

So... Anybody switched their overhead/front pipe? I'm wanting to add bolt ones before getting a tune. @ft86speedfactory has given me a quote for an Invidia catless frot pipe and Perrin overhead pipe for a great price, but I wanted to run it through my fellow brz/frs owners for opinions! I doubt I'll switch my intake, but I may switch the filter with a drop in. @Dynotronics1 any gains on bolt on + tune that to can speak of?

Personally I'd suggest the Motive OP and FP combo, great price and looks fastastic. I got my tune already but not the pipes, once i get the pipes he can retune it for you. Im waiting till he gets his headers then ill do all 3 at once, as well as the drop in filter. Less work for him in the long run.

Motiv or Nameless, I love my nameless setup but the wait time kinda sucks.
I wasted money on an intake, I'd advise against it (from my experience, at least stay away from airaid).

I don't find it raspy at all.

I travel 130 almost every weekend and I hear more noise from my tires than my exhaust, it's also catted so it's not as bad as it could be.

If you come out to the one of the meets I'd be more than happy to take you for a ride so you can hear it in cabin, and I am sure someone with a different setup would be willing to do the same.
