Did you mean you have the Visual Graphics or the BeatSonic?

it doesnt look too bad...

I posted this elsewhere... what i did was I heated the roof of the car up with a heat gun. NOT HOT... just warm..where i can still touch it, no warmer than parking the car under the sun in the summer time. then I lightly brushed the heat over the double sided tape then taped it on. Hopefully it'll last a few years and not just 7 months.

Maybe warm it up now... and try massaging it out. use a hair dryer. repeat a couple times and maybe it'll straighten out.

I know we really shouldnt have to do this and this tape should have came straight from the factory but what can you do?

Demand the manufacturer to correct it as it should have been from the start, I know I did!

I should've read this thread before making my antenna purchase. The VG sharkfin I got installed great and looked awesome...for a couple days. The entire trailing edge of the fin (nearest the rear window) lifted off. When I tried pressing it back down, there was resistance from the VG antenna mushing up against the stock antenna base.

Not sure what to do with the VG antenna, but I peeled it off and reinstalled the stock antenna for now.

How far back did u have the antenna? Mine does not touch the stock antenna base when pushed forward.

That's where it was installed. I took that picture immediately after installing.

That's weird that is pretty far up. There should be enough clearance for the shark find to not come into contact with the stock antenna base

I thought it was weird, too, but even when I was test fitting with the backing still on the adhesive, that was the only place I could lay the antenna on the car with the least amount of resistance.
