@JoeBoxer - you are the man
I paid for college working as an audio/video guy but it's been years! Does JL produce a decent 3-way separates setup for the front? |

Definitely interested, sounds like a better option ($$) than what the OEMAudio+ guys are offering. I've tried to get them (OEMAudio+) to sell me the parts individually but they require you buy their entire package >_<
Keep us updated!

So if I understand correctly, you're saying the 4" mid in the C5 653 won't drop-in at all... Is it because the hole is too shallow? The 4" mid is too deep or is it a diameter problem? I would *love* to get a 3-way in there.. i'm even willing to let go of a sub for a proper high powered 3-way setup. Thanks |

Might be able to make them fit and put the tweeter in the pillars?

This is what I plan on doing when/if I ever get home and get my car back. IIRC, the A-pillars have a fairly flat surface, so it should be easy to put a tweeter there. I even bought a spare set of pillars just in case I make a mistake.

I already have a 3-way setup, but if I was starting from scratch I'd have to go with Hybrid Audio speakers. The Legatia series sounds amazing, but is pricy. IMHO, though, they're worth the coin.

Morel and Hybrid are both excellent, if i had $900 for speakers i'd get the Morel Virtus 3 way but i'm not spending that much on speakers for this car.

We own a few sets of Morels, having owned Hertz, Rainbow and a few others, wow...expensive, yup, but if you like SQ, its worth it.

Pillars are easily doable I've seen quite a few already, cruzinbill has some awesome ones with the mid and tweet in them. For this car though I think 2 way is perfectly acceptable unless you have the processing on hand to do 3 way properly.
