the vic 86 page seems to have a great bunch of positive, active members. your constant negativity will not be missed. i didn't realise who you were on these forums, and i didn't mind your posts on here, so its disappointing you troll people for the sake of trolling.
Exactly right ryan. What some people who are on the page do outside of club time is their business.. I haven't seen that video before, and he hasn't posted it on the page as the club doesn't condone that type of behaviour, especially at car meets. I'm sure most of us here are guilty of the odd mountain drive or cruise at some point. It's apart of owning a nice car such as the 86... going out and enjoying it. I'm sure most of us didn't buy the car to drive it to work and back everyday.

I speculate around 23 - 27K..

I know in Canada that after 4 years (96000 km) my car is 50% of the total purchase price I paid for the car. That is from the dealership.

wow at that video ...

Bit too much stupid stuff for my liking.

Ok, i get it, put yourself in danger. BUT be 100% sure there is no one that can get in the way on your own danger. Double line passing is f*cked up.

Gezz this page got off topic fast.

86 will still be worth 40k in 3 years - well thats what i would sell it for. (ok, trolling.... more like 25k)

It's full modified bro.
86WTF front number plate bracket
6 year old JVC amp
6 year old JVC 12 inch subwoofer wooop wooop
that is all.

You must have missed the part where I was challenged to a race for slips.

you weren't funny. no-one thought it.
All I did was point that it's probably not the best idea to spend $2000 on multiple coats of paint protection on an extremely cheap car, after the guy applying it actually says it will have no benefit what so ever over a single $500 coat.

The problem with the Vic page is that it's a massive circle jerk. No one can criticize the car or go against the hive mind of the core ~10-15 people who actually post. I started off being devil's advocate, but it got so depressing I went a little further (but I don't think I did anything ban worthy). The club has actually become a massive joke to most of the other clubs in Victoria.

I have to say though, I really do not miss my Facebook page being spammed by people excited to see the same car they own and see every day.

Really? I am part of quite a few vic car clubs, never seen this one mentioned?
Do you have links to back up these claims?

Or is this just what you have taken from when you have talked to friends in other clubs, told them you have been kicked out, given them just your side of the story and now saying the whole club thinks we are a joke, even though it's just a couple of people you know that happen to be in another club?

How did this end up about you anyway?

Lets get back on the subject before Gir brings down the resale value even more.

Our cars were always destined to become hoon cars, that's part and parcel of the demographic they're aimed at. But any videos like this just add fuel to the fire.

I get angry when my insurance premiums are outrageously high because of these people.

I am hoping the market value is a little bit more than 50% after 3 years.

If someone had "challenged you for slips", clearly you couldn't see the sarcasm. I don't recall this, but obviously you do.

Also, Chunky? Go play with your warhammer toys.
