Just checking...my son has an '09 GTI and we recently replaced the intake manifold, cleaned intake chamber/valves, got it chipped, modified the intake tube w/an Audi part to eliminate the sound tube to cabin and put on red coil packs and new NGK plugs. Damn thing is a rocket sled now!!! Reminds me of the Corrado SLC VR6 I use to have!!! Looks like you've done a few things to that '06 to add some ponies to it.

just updated the OP and finally got the formatting to look a little better than a huge wall of text...
EDIT here is a link for the spokes although might be the wrong link (not too familiar with spokes) http://www.spokes.org/ |

ROLL CHART
S.A. BRZ/FR-S TWISTED SISTERS RUN - 8:00 AM - Saturday, 19 Jan 2013
Google Map Route: http://goo.gl/maps/9Xp1h MEETUP AT 8 AM: DBC Tuning, 15555 Tradesman Drive, Suite 500 (near 1604 and IH 10) @ 8 AM. Shop tour and Q&A session. Possible AM food/pod [sic] if we hear more on that later from Mike (Porschephile) at DBC. Website: http://www.dbctuning.com/contact-us/ DEPARTURE FROM DBC TUNING: Approx. 9 AM. 1) FROM DBC TUNING...HEAD BACK TO ACCESS ROAD AND TAKE LEFT TO GET ON 1604 WEST AND THEN TAKE IH 10 TO BOERNE. 2) EXIT IH 10 TO HWY 46 TAKE A LEFT ON 46 TO HEAD FOR HWY 16 AND TAKE RIGHT TO BANDERA, TEXAS. 3) CONTINUE ON HWY 16 THROUGH BANDERA TO MEDINA, TEXAS. IN MEDINA, STOP AT THE APPLE STORE ON THE RIGHT FOR A BRIEF PIT STOP, FINAL MEET UP SPOT AND PHOTO SHOOT. Note: We may need to park across the street if there is more room to line up there. Arrival time should be around 10 AM. Departure NLT 10:30. This place has fabulous cookies and pies for sale!!! 4) FROM MEDINA, HEAD OUT AGAIN ON HWY 16 FOR A FEW BLOCKS AND TAKE A LEFT ON RR337 HEADING WEST TO LEAKEY, TEXAS. Note: There will be some twisty turns on hills just prior to arriving in Leakey. Have fun, keep a safe following distance between you and car in front of you. Slow down to deliberately keep room between us and slow traffic if need be to create a gap (so we can push limits on the turns a bit). Respect oncoming traffic. Stay in your lane!!! Please use caution if road is wet. Some shady areas near the cliffs might still be wet if there has been fog and drizzle that morning. And, be careful on the blind curves! Don't get too carried away!! Anticipate at every moment you might have to shut er down!!! (To be safe - would definitely advise leaving the nannies turned on if there is any sign of wetness on this road. There are some steep grades. Gravity is a bitch on slick roads.) 5) ARRIVE IN LEAKEY, LEFT ON HWY 83 - GO DOWN TO THE TEXACO STATION AT FARM ROAD 1120. BRIEF 5-10-15 MINUTE PIT STOP AND LAST CHANCE FOR GASOLINE, SNACKS, CELL PHONE CALLS, ETC. - Now we begin some real fun.....let's roll. 6) NORTH ON HWY 83 ABOUT A MILE FROM TOWN AND TAKE RR336 TO TEXAS 41. TURN ON THE GOPRO. THERE WILL BE SOME NICE AGGRESSIVE TWISTS AND TURNS ON THIS ROAD AFTER WE GET A LITTLE WAYS OUT. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. Note: a) There may still be some construction zone areas on this stretch. Things may have changed since the last drive. Rocks were not an issue on this road last time. Road was clean but shoulders were being worked on. Use caution if conditions are not the same. b) There are numerous cattle guards on this stretch. Most can be taken pretty fast. A couple were a little bouncy but none required majorly slowing down. Keep some room between you and the car in front of you so you can see them coming. c) Scout car and Lead car should look for a good spot for a photo shoot after we complete the twisty portions of the run. I think we blew past a few last time! No biggie if we don't see a suitable spot. We can look for something on Texas 41. 7) LEFT ON TEXAS 41 HEADING WEST. SOME LONG CURVY, HILLY, MOSTLY STRAIGHT HIGHWAY FOR 15 MILES. WATCH OUT FOR DPS. ENJOY THE SCENERY. RELAX AND SAVOR THE FUN YOU AND YOUR CAR JUST EXPERIENCED ON 336!!! 8) FROM STATE HWY 41, TAKE RR 335 ON THE LEFT. THERE MAY BE SOME FALLEN/LOOSE LARGER SIZED ROCKS ON THIS ROAD AT THE BEGINNING. THERE MAY BE SLOWER MOVING TRAFFIC INCLUDING MOTORCYCLES THAT MAY BE ON BLIND CURVES. USE EXTREME CAUTION AND KEEP A SAFE FOLLOWING DISTANCE. Note: Scout car/Lead car should watch for a good safe spot for us all to pull over for a photo shoot. We will ramp it down a bit on this segment if it looks like a lot of traffic / motorcycles are present around those initial twists. Use Caution! 9) TOWARD THE END OF THE STRETCH ON 335 WE WILL TAKE A LEFT ON HWY 55 TO CAMP WOOD. OBEY SPEED LIMITS HERE! 10) FROM HWY 55 IN CAMP WOOD TAKE A LEFT ON TO RR 337 TO HEAD BACK TO LEAKEY. THERE IS CONSTRUCTION ON THIS ROAD FURTHER OUT AND THERE IS LOOSE GRAVEL IN SOME SPOTS AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE HILLS. THERE ARE TWISTIES PAST THE CENTER PORTION OF THIS STRETCH. BE MINDFUL OF RADAR ON THE LONG STRAIGHT STRETCHES JUST OUT OF CAMP WOOD. Note: Last time we encountered some slow traffic on the twisties. We might stop to create a good gap if it is safe/available to do so otherwise just slow down the line to increase the gap. Also, don't follow too close on the loose gravel/construction zones or you'll get nailed with rocks from the car in front of you. Avoid road rash/use good judgment! 11) BEFORE ARRIVING BACK IN LEAKEY ON RR 337 - STOP FOR LUNCH AT THE BENT RIM GRILL (Burgers and fries) 657 West RR 337 (1/2 mile west of Hwy 83). WATCH FOR THE SIGNAGE. It's behind the Canyon Motorcycle Stop in the same building in the central patio area. SUGGEST WE PARK/LINE UP FOR A PHOTO SHOOT IN THE UNPAVED PARKING AREA. Weather Forecast for Saturday, January 19 as of Monday, 1/14/2013. Mainly sunny. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the upper 30s. Precipitation: 10% Relative Humidity: 71% Cloud Coverage: 13%
