YES! I thought this was just me. I test drove a bunch of different cars after my FR-S was totaled and this is exactly how I felt. It's actually one of the reasons why I'm going back to the FR-S

My wife's veloster turbo still feels pretty good. Not like a bus. Maybe a little top heavy. The torque makes up for it.

On a related note, anything with a turbo, even a small a quick-to-spool one, now seems laggy to me. That half a second between pressing on a pedal and accelerating seems very annoying now. |

Yes when it comes to throttle response there is no comparison. The brz wins hands down. Especially with a downpipe and tune.

No two different brands of vehicles drive the same. The FR-S is the best handling car I've ever driven. However that doesn't mean I don't enjoy driving something like a bus. For four years we lived and traveled in a 36' motor home and I loved driving that thing. I find something to enjoy in driving any vehicle I've ever been in. None were bad. Only some were better than others. I even enjoy driving my wife's '11 CR-V.

Try going from a modified first gen Miata to the BRZ - they're both low, but the BRZ feels large and heavy. That said, it also feels like a luxury car with much better amenities, softer ride, and virtually no squeaks and rattles. The power difference is pretty noticeable too.
My WRX feels like driving a truck in comparison. |

Even driving my Integra with Tokico adjustable's and Eibach springs feels 'floaty' and uncontrolled. The Integra is even slammed to the point where the mud flaps are an inch of the ground.
Driving the two back to back, the Integra feels like your sitting in a high chair.
