@FRiSson PM me, I will get you in contact with my detailer Rick @ Unique Car Care, he is the best in New England. Trust me...there are several other members on this forum who can vouch for him. He is a good guy and doesn't smack talk anyone else. I can post pics of the latest detailing he did on my car if you want reference/proof. I can also point you to other members of this forum who will vouch for him.

If that is Rick Nelson you will be in outstanding hands! I totally vouch for him!

That it is! I refuse to let anyone else touch my car! I really just need to grab a bunch of his business cards to just hand out on a daily basis since people are always asking me how my car looks so damn good

I took my Tacoma in for scheduled maintenance (which is actually when I first saw an fr-s). Anyway, they took forever so they detailed it for me. Got home, and noticed tire shine ALL OVER my truck. It seems they used about 8 gallons of tire shine on each tire, which caused it to sling everywhere while driving. That shit doesn't just wipeoff so I had to wash it again.

...I thought you wanted the dealer to do the PDI wash or whatever so that they remove the "rail dust" and whatnot?

I have all my clients take delivery with the plastic intact, let alone allowing the dealer to wash it. Removing the raildust etc is dead easy. It may cost you $20 for a bottle of Carpro IronX, but its way cheaper than the $400 I'm going to charge to fix the damage they do to it when they wash it. 99 out of 100 dealers just wash it anyways, they don't even know what raildust is.

4 car washes in and my paint still looks pretty good. My dealer was 2 of them, no regrets yet.
