Really? Porkier than I had thought. What do those put down stock? I thought they were mid 13 second cars out of the box.

No, they're low 14 second cars (someone somewhere may have gotten a high 13, but that's gotta be an outlier for a stocker). 240 hp, but absolutely gutless down low. Still, I love 'em.

Might have no torque at all but it feels great taking it to 9k and hearing VTEC kick in. No sound in the world like it.

Those sound great! It's just opinion but nothing beats the S2000 with the proper exhaust.

Amuse R1000:

Can't really find a good fly by with this exhaust but it sounds insane in person.

that does sound quite good! there's just so much to be said for the high-revving 8+ cylinder engines.

i guess i really like any kind of GOOD engine sound. big blocks, small blocks, I4's, H4's, I6's, rotaries, really anything.

Personally I say either an RB25DET, RB26DETT, or a 2JZGTE. But really it's just an opinion question...

You have to go back to our other threads where we argue. We will argue about anything and that's what we're doing here. It's all in fun really.

When there's no new info that's all we can do and it helps pass the time. I love stirring sh!t up with OldSkool, it's all in good fun.

I know but seriously? 4A vs F20/22?

If you are looking for the best engine notes ever, look here

and here

and here

and finally here

If you want engine notes closer to mere mortal cars, then the JZ, RB26 and UZ on ITBs will do it.
