Sidewall is a little hard to read, but it looks like you went 245 40 17, correct?

At first I was wondering why there were extra spokes on the wheels. Then I realized what you did there.

I don't have these but also have a set of 17x7 +42 with the 245/40/17 A6, if you want I can take a picture later of it.

Has anyone confirmed the weight of the 17x7 +42 Enkei RPF1's? Based on weight, dollar and appearance they seem like one of the best options. Also, any known issues with durability at this weight?

Enkei states they are 15.15 lbs here, that would drop 4-5 lbs off of the stock wheel (also interesting, they list it on this chart as a 43 mm offset) If Enkei's statement of "Every pound of unsprung weight savings has the effect of reducing overall vehicle weight by 20lbs" is accurate, this would be like reducing 320-400 lbs of vehicle weight:

That's not the same wheel, that's a 4x100 built for other cars.

These 17x7 +42 were pretty much purpose built for the FR-S/BRZ and to maintain legality in the stock Solo2 classes.

They are going to be right around 15lbs give or take a few ounces.

As for the "every pound of unsprung weight" comment, keep in mind they are trying to sell lightweight wheels. There have been a couple tests which show lightweight wheels don't necessarily make the car a lot faster on course, but weight reduction isn't really going to hurt anything
